Shop will as well be communal and filled with my ever-expanding collection of tools and machines. We will use this to produce tiny homes and other items/crafts to expand the community, and for sale to produce funds for things we dont already have. Not overly pricegouged like current pre-made tiny houses or buzzword-filled “eco-friendly” rubbish made no different than before But to start anything of this nature will require a bit of tenuous relationship with capitalist society. This not necessarily being bad, as every relationship is give and take, maybe the solarpunk-ish ideas bleed over into capitilism. Every step forward is something to strive for.
Can’t have / don’t want a steel foundry, but need steel to build. Gotta start somewhere.

Of course it will be interlaced with what Ive learned researching #permaculture and technology. It won’t be perfect, it won’t be utopia, but it will be 10 steps closer than anyone has tried so far. Nobody is going to build it for me so I have to do it myself. As I’ve done so with most other aspects of my life. Then hopefuly this one sparks a fire under others seats to start their own elsewhere, communicating between more communities, sharing knowledge and discoveries openly between them.
