Hi! My name is Alberto, I have been a #hamradio operator since August 2023. I love to work on HF in SSB, but I'm starting to use CW. I love to do activations and contacts in the field, surrounded by nature, but always with 100 W! :P

#EH5LGBT on air in SSB! Try to find us! :P

Woohoo! Jersey Island in 80m! One of the few QSOs I have made in 80, and what a QSO! ^·^

Here is how my setup was the day of the QSO, in a little park in a nerby town :)

Proposal for a great new tool for testing propagation to the United States:

An NCDXF-like network of beacons worldwide that take turns to transmit “Is this frequency in use, please?” at varying power levels on 14300kHz.

When you hear that a fellow fediham has been receiving hate mail for running a special event station with an -LGBT suffix.. it's not much, but I'd rather say something than nothing.

I'm not a fan of FT8/FT4 modes, but I know that some hams only use those modes to make QSOs, and I want to share #EH5LGBT with as many people as possible!

Fedihams! Do you only use FT8/FT4? Or do you work other modes as well?

Only FT8/FT4, do it, I want the QSL!
I can also do RTTY/PSK...
SSB/CW, old school as heck

Yesterday I found these in the hardware store, they are sold as "cable organizers" for power tools, extension cords, etc.

But I thought to myself... "these would be perfect to carry my wires for my #EFHW "

Here is how it came out, and how I carried the cables before, soooo much better ^·^
