Greetings.
There is no rate limit on good deeds, kind acts, aiding those in need. The well of honor within you does not run dry.
Just finished directing the second annual Cyber Tractor Challenge and wow am I tired! It was so worth it to see all the wonderful students from around North America get hands on with my day-to-day work, and get shown up by what they were able to accomplish in just one week. I'm excited to see what comes next year! Time for some well earned rest before kicking off planning for the next one. Thanks everyone who helped me get here! I couldn't have done it without our @defcon community's support and encouragement!

Protip:

When designing a user interface, imagine some old woman using it, say Margaret Hamilton, and she's clicking your app's buttons and saying to you, as old people do,

"Young whippersnapper, when I was your age, I sent 24 people to the ACTUAL MOON with my software in 4K of RAM and here I am clicking your button and it takes ten seconds to load a 50 megabyte video ad and then it crashes

I'm not even ANGRY with you, I'm just disappointed."

Hole shit the 400 CiberBrujo SAO'S are already here!

As someone who fully divested from twitter despite being reliant on it early in 2023 I'm here to tell you that you can, in fact, just not use twitter. You can go all in on mastodon. In fact, it'll probably make mastodon work better for you if you do
Looks like Twitter has jumped the shark.

Four dimensional chess at near the end. Elmo is close to destroying twitter indefinitely.

Attacks on the US power grid — a preferred method of attack among extremists, particularly accelerationists — have surged to a decade-high peak this year, with more than 100 attacks reported in the first 8 months of 2022. So that’s not even including the recent spate of attacks in NC, SC, FL, GA, WA, & OR.

These kinds of attacks are seen by extremists as a crucial step towards inciting a race war.

Physical attacks on power grid surge to new peak

People are shooting, sabotaging and vandalizing electrical equipment in the U.S. at a pace unseen in at least a decade, amid signs that domestic extremists hope to use blackouts to sow unrest.
