at least the decision was quickly reversed, apologies were made but the damage... was done.
definitely not the worst way to handle this and I've spent 3 years here without any complaints, but on my list it's down from perfect to just pretty good

...yeaahhhh, I might wanna think of jumping instances. Not that I care about Zucker-man reading what I say - he can do that with no account no problem. what I care about is the admin banning an established instance on a whim. new ones with barely any members that look sus? feel free to slam that ban button without even thinking, just reconsider sometime. dot art was federated with here for years and we didn't get a heads-up, I've only found out today from that art I boosted
