Thinking about how all common names are Saint's names, because people originally needed a Saint's name in order to be baptised, it's difficult to think of a suitable male name that isn't common - so I've gone for the male version of my name for now, which is Gabriel.
The girl is Eve and the boy is?? The aether needs to let me know (not Adam, Eve is a relatively rare name for women, but Adam is a very common British male name which doesn't have the right vibe, while still being very nice)
I'm starting to resize my BJD doll sculpts, last edited on 14 august 2025, to be a small cute fairy size since smaller dolls are more popular right now+people can carry them around with them (also popular right now) but in renaming the parts files,
I realise I have not given the boy a name yet.
Sculpting a crown for dolls (and or a ring for people)
I didn't use Nomad but SculptGL (the old version of the same program)
Sound is also by me

And my WIP files slowly becoming keysmashes (newest at top)
I make a new file for every significant change, because sometimes there is a hole in the mesh or some error that can't be reversed so I can just go back to the previous save. This is all just for this piece.

Working on the boy body, I do like the one I made in 3 days in november 2023 but, I wanted to exaggerate some features here hence the more 'hero' type. Not finished yet, I will add a waist joint in.
Hollowed out, the inside is sculpted too, with channels for elastic.

- and I adjusted the knee and ankle joints to make it more sturdy. I might adjust the waist slightly so it locks into the standing position a little better. It's an extremely flexible design, my adjustments are to try and make it *less* flexible, my joint mechanism was too good 😅

I've adjusted the joints for the shoulder, knee and ankle for my doll sculpt Eve, and I think I will be able to finish WIP boy sculpt & apply the same adjustments to that sculpt. The arms are magnetic rn but my adjustments mean it can be strung with elastic as originally intended,

My lovely doll sculpt Eve is going to waste a bit since I've been stuck on how to manufacture her, so I thought of resizing her smaller so it's easier and cheaper to make (hopefully) and easier to ship affordably.
So I now have resized file of around 31.5 cm (fashion doll size)
Original height is around 44cm, might not seem like a big difference but because she's very tall and thin, 50% of the height is legs lol so I couldn't go any smaller without making her too tiny.
Mermaid sculpture that might turn into a doll! (also bonus goldfish)
