I make a new file for every significant change, because sometimes there is a hole in the mesh or some error that can't be reversed so I can just go back to the previous save. This is all just for this piece.

Working on the boy body, I do like the one I made in 3 days in november 2023 but, I wanted to exaggerate some features here hence the more 'hero' type. Not finished yet, I will add a waist joint in.
Hollowed out, the inside is sculpted too, with channels for elastic.

- and I adjusted the knee and ankle joints to make it more sturdy. I might adjust the waist slightly so it locks into the standing position a little better. It's an extremely flexible design, my adjustments are to try and make it *less* flexible, my joint mechanism was too good 😅

I've adjusted the joints for the shoulder, knee and ankle for my doll sculpt Eve, and I think I will be able to finish WIP boy sculpt & apply the same adjustments to that sculpt. The arms are magnetic rn but my adjustments mean it can be strung with elastic as originally intended,

Some doll designing is happening...they will have changeable ears or horns, (holes at top) a smiling closed-eye head, (bottom left) and a set of different eye positions (top left) my own unique joint designs for most points, and changeable wigs and clothes of course.

I'm thinking about making a small, probably fashion doll size, test BJD sculpt very soon (I will film it if I do!)
In my mind I'd like to make a tiny fairy, but that is probably not possible with this complexity.
I want to test out my jointing system I designed years ago, since nearly every joint is unique compared to what's out there already, I want to see how it all works together.

I haven't sculpted any more yet, but I decided to add glitter to the clay which probably? won't affect casting, since I will need to cover the final doll with grey sealant stuff before casting. So it will just look more glittery while I sculpt.
