1. Your voice doesn't NEED to be heard. In fact, realizing that you don’t HAVE to have an opinion on everything and voice opinions or ideas in meetings or social gatherings, is amazingly liberating. You can actually just shut up, and relieve yourself of all that effort and stress. Let Bob utter his embarrassingly dumb idea, let Shirley have a say. You can just let it be for the most part

Bin von Twitter hierher gezogen, aber so wie der Großteil der #medbubble dann irgendwann weiter zu Bluesky, weil mein Fokus auf Medizin und Science ist und nicht auf IT. Mein Daily Driver ist ein iPad Pro und keine Linux Maschine, und dann fühlt man sich hier schnell fehl am Platz. Trotzdem vielen Dank für Ihre Mühe!

@lipow Hier in Österreich würde ich mich mal an die Caritas wenden, die sind gut in so etwas, vielleicht gibt es in DE ähnliche Organisationen. Sonst würde ich mich über die Angehörigen - Selbsthilfegruppen informieren, die haben immer die besten Kontakte. Alles Gute und viel Kraft!
@Linkshaender ….und wenn dieser Post in einer Sprache geschrieben wäre, die auch ein Laie versteht, wäre ich in meinen eigenen Bemühungen, mich von Microslop et al abzukoppeln vielleicht ein Stück weiter. Aber solange die Cognoscenti unter sich bleiben, bleiben die Normalos halt draußen.

I have not been sick even once since I first heard of covid and began masking. Not a sniffle not a scratchy throat. Nothing. It has been the only disease free period in my entire life. Normally I would get several colds and the flu every year.
