If you notice me following and don't know why, here are a few reasons:
1. You made me laugh or think
2. You share my interest in science or technology
3. You asked me to follow you
4. You give good advice

Chances increase when I notice you don't have many followers.

Can you do more than one #release a day? Sure, just keep in mind that it needs to be done with 24 hours :)

I went to the shop, leaving the house I wondered whether or not I should grab a jacket, but it could be raining. Since I needed a few more groceries than normally I decided to take the car. Leaving the car I noticed some raindrops coming down. Looking back I noticed my orange umbrella. I decided to take it with me.

And oh boy! I’m so glad I didn’t go walking without a jacket, car or umbrella. Because the rain was extreme for a few minutes!

Ugh... Next release will take around 12 hours according to #todo2d, most likely will move a few tasks to the next release (since this I alternate between new-feature and fix-it releases).

Tomorrow will however be my first free day in 10 days and I need to unwind a bit. So no more work for now (unless I notice a major bug)

Sweet! Using the new graphs formulas (calculated properties) I just estimated my tutorial on 30 minutes, then I add a calculation to determine the average and noticed one section have a higher than expected average. So I checked the tasks in those section and notice that they were indeed too high. A quick modification and now the tutorial is more balanced.

Here is a preview of a new feature I'm developing for #todo2d, this will allow you to perform calculations of tasks that need to be done.

It becomes even cooler when it display the amount of tasks (or hours) being blocked which makes it easier to focus on your *next* task 🤩

Sometimes, software development is realizing that a fork is not suitable for eating soup, then grabbing another utensil and hoping it's not a knife that your putting in your mouth.

#strategy is about having both a map and a compass, and knowing how to use them to traverse the domain you are working in.

With a compass you will keep direction.
With a map you will know the route to your destination.

#advice

#advice When providing estimates, express them in minutes rather than hours. There's a significant difference between perceiving a task as taking 8 hours, which might seem reasonable, and recognizing it as 480 minutes. This method also helps breaking complex task into smaller tasks such as: setting up a project (15m) initializing the repository (10m), or informing the team about the repository (another 10m). Not only do you get more precise estimates, but it also results in a more detailed plan.
