Firewalls are partially transparent to not block the view of the transformer itself.

Yes I was influenced by the Beatmania IIDX Happy Sky design. Not sure what that’s called in graphic design like a uniform style for a product.

No video game systems ever had a hybrid storage system of CD and solid-state. I think that would have been awesome to reduce loading times and permitted saving games, but would probably have cost too much money compared to the extremely low mass production costs of CDs and DVDs.
Like 250MB on a smaller mini-CD and a couple MB of ROM.
