I do remember that early mp3 players were more obsessed with DRM than sound quality; luckily, knockoff players that still didn't care about sound quality but at least didn't care equally about DRM came to dominate the market :D
@rysiek Internet is just basically a 2D environment. We tried 3D many, many years ago (vrml, the 3d version of html) and nobody cared.
Yes, we read the Gibson books. No, it doesn't work as anything other than a metaphor for attacking other servers, you can't use it to (for example) book a train ticket, unless the 3d world presents a pseudo-2d screen for you to operate like a browser window.
Augmented Reality, however, shows promise. provided we don't allow commercial interests to dominate it with pop-up ads.

@econads @SecureOwl
I upgraded mine to a "smart fridge".
By which I mean I used a magnet to attach a notepad to the front. And I don't mean an android tablet, I mean a glorified kids toy with no cpu :D
@SecureOwl - That's probably a good thing though.
There's literally no benefit to a moon resort, but a privacy policy that stops your health insurance company having access to your eating habits is probably desirable.
