Let's talk about A.I. and the fact that, barring a massive increase/boost in computing power, we are still very, very far away from enjoying/witnessing what 'it' can/will do.
What should A.I. be used for? How could its use be regulated?
My good friend, and fellow photographer, Mel Sinclair, has lost her house, and her dogs in a house fire this week. She is devastated (mostly at the loss of her dog, which is understandable).
A donation page has been set up here: https://www.gofundme.com/sinclair-house-fire-in-kenmore
If you have some spare dollars, she and her parents would greatly appreciate it.
We are raising money for John, Cheryl and Melanie Sinclair who today lost all they own in a house fire. As well as their 2 pet dogs Cowgirl and Bailey. It was their family home, unfortunately the insurance had lapsed, they have now been left destitute. Please every dollar counts, 100% of the fund...
My #introduction post:
I'm a bookseller and writer, in-between publishers and busy writing my third novel - also busy with what might become an important non-fiction project.
I'm a DC and Marvel fan, sometimes play guitar, and used to draw, before I began writing. Anything else about me, in short, is at http://davedeburgh.com
