Kristoffer Patrick CornilsLiz Pelly's »Mood Machine« is out tomorrow and I recommend that everyone working in music gets a copy. I get a brief mention (correct spelling and all), as Liz cites an essay of mine published in 2021. Upon revisiting said essay, I realised I don't like it much. In fact, my first draft looked quite different and appeals a lot more to me some 4 1/2 years later, which is why I have made it available in German and English translation on my website.

Der erste Teil meines Jahresrückblicks ist online: Zehn Alben, die bleiben werden - mit Phiik & Lungs, ShrapKnel, ØKSE, Hana Vu, Friko, The Zew, Julia-Sophie, Ghost Dubs, Nídia & Valentina und Jlin.
Wenn ich nicht entscheiden kann, was ich hören will, läuft „Funcrusher Plus“. Wenn ich weiß, dass der Arbeitstag furchtbar wird, läuft auf dem Weg dorthin „Funcrusher Plus“.
Kaum ein Album habe ich so oft gehört wie das Debüt von Company Flow. Dennoch oder deshalb fiel es mir immer schwer, die richtigen Worte für meine Begeisterung zu finden.
