Great to be part of the panel at an event to launch the Strava Year of Sport report and hear about trends from this years dataset. Tracking everything from athlete habits to commuting trends it was an interesting and informative morning 👏🏻

Meeting today with Greater Manchester Police Superintendent Gareth Parkin. He’s my single point of contact for roads policing in GM. Although infrastructure is vital to provide safe space for walking, wheeling & cycling, road crime will continue to affect people’s confidence & the cost both in life & to the public purse of dangerous & anti-social driving is unimaginable. Without Vision Zero in GM, society will lose an conservative estimate of £4.5billion by 2040!
