Some will kill you with a pistol, some with a fountain pen, and some will kill you for no reason cause they can within the “law.” And impunity for the rich and mighty rules openly and behind a veil of deceit, Yep, son. @lawfare Mr.Wittes is a longtime friend of James Comey. Has been clear for years that he rejects the idea that his friend’s actions contributed to HRC’s loss. No one says he alone achieved it. So I hear the rustling of a strawman on parade. The failure to prosecute and convict DJT is the achievement of the efforts of many. The situations have nothing in common save their baleful outcomes.

@GottaLaff In truth I think both you and Aaron have to ponder your assessment of our citizenry. The answer lies therein. By and large they know not history, Nor know they the way government works. They are broadly incapable of assessing the reliability of information. They tend to the extra-punitive and they are uncomfortable with novelty. They love to be told who to blame for their own failings. And then there are the bigotries which adore mollification.
