I won a book. On the right is the 13th edition of the #Rothammel Antenna Book. This is THE antenna book here in Germany; every amateur radio operator I know has at least one copy of it. Almost 1,500 pages of concentrated knowledge.
On the left, for comparison, is my old copy (10th edition, published 1984 by the Military Publishing House of the GDR).

@JM8UTW I looked into this a while ago. Simply rent a PO Box. You can do that online. From what i heard you will never recive any letters by the FCC because they send everything via E-Mail only. So for how long you keep renting that PO Box is _theoreticaly_ up to you. But you have at least a physical address for getting the licence in the first place.

Wenn ich über eine coole Aktivität meines Klubs berichte, stufe ich das für mich nicht als "Nicklichkeit" ein.
Sieht man Mastodon allerdings rein als Werbeschleuder, passt dein Ansatz. Du bist auf dem DARC Server, deine Bubble aus Gefolgten und Folgenden sind vermutlich nur Deutsche oder DARC Mitglieder. Aber Mastodon* ist halt dezentral, die verschiedenen Server weltweit vernetzt. Ich schau gern über den Tellerrand und kommuniziere dementsprechend auch so.

@DL6JZ Was genau ist deine Intention hier grad? Was stört dich dran wenn ich hier auf englisch über das Vereinsleben berichte? Ist als Amtssprache nur deutsch erlaubt? Soll ich demnächst meine Beiträge von meinem DV freischalten lassen bevor ich hier etwas veröffentliche? Habt ihr im Distrikt vorgedruckte Formulare dafür? Geht das dann als Fax oder soll ich die Posteule losschicken?
