Just a person in a long line of cogs, working to improve cognition.
@kai a space between “Font” and “Bureau”.
@clauseggers example?
@typotheque you make it a paradox if you don’t make optical sizes. They didn’t in the 90s, but it is now 2025 and all weights can work at all sizes.
@behdad @federicomena That’s a pretty big idea to leave out of the graphic;) I wouldn't shelf it based on the reaction to 1/2 of the logo being reversed. If 1/2 of the people who want the old logo, want it differently from the other 1/2 who like the old logo, it’s a 3-way tie:)
@kai well, if I was a doctor, I’d recommend something you’d have to go purchase. And that’d probably taste horrible. “Honey's antibacterial effects were first demonstrated by the Dutch scientist Bernardus Adrianus van Ketel in 1892.…” W. Pedia), and is easier to apply with a waffle than the greasy stuff from pharma.
@kai i am not a doctor, but I keep my knives sharp. I recommend just honey and then tape for faster mending. For the root cause… this below costs less than a finger. You’d want to wear it backwards.

Did some work on the Arabic default font for my font editor today.

The whole font is built on an 2-unit grid and a powers-of-2 grid so it will compress well into LLM training data as part of the Font Garden datasets.

@glukfonts i think this wonderful, and would keep the double loop but make the lower loop somewhat smaller than the top loop.
@onpaperwings i have some paper to wing to you if you’re interested in Linotype things.
