Honeypots
So I have been interested in Honeypots ever since I heard about them when i started my Cyber security journey. I have played with IDS's and Security Onion but I have yet to dive in to the Honeypot world.
I am looking for some good honeypot projects for both AWS and that can run on raspberrypi .
Let me know which are worth exploring and which are just not worth the time.
Intro - I am never good at these things.
Hi I am Matt
I have been into computers back when there were BBS's, not websites.
After a 4 year tour in the Navy, I settled back into the Computer/ Hardware world. π»
From selling software to testing it to building peripherals.
It was not until I joined the Helpdesk tech support world until really felt my calling.
20 years later I was ready for a new challenge to explore the Cyber Security world. From IDS to Wifi sniffers, Wireshark to Windows logs. I started with a Splunk course which quickly went to a Threat Hunting and Digital Forensics course. Those got my foot in the door to my first SOC job. I have been fascinated by WIFI sniffing and KISMET wardriving.
I also find myself being very comfortable going to different hospitals and conventions dressed as Darth Vader with his sidekick a very stubborn astromech named R4-K5.
