Coding bod. Inventor of the tray. Guitar and music nut. Amateur noise maker. Terrible painter. All views my own.

I may be the last person on earth to be watching Breaking Bad. Just finished season 4 and I might leave it there - can’t imagine another season adding anything very satisfying to that finale.

Am I wrong?

First go at oil painting today, mainly trying to get the hang of blending paint for shading on the canvas.

Couple more like potatoes but there you go. #oilpainting

About to collect and fit a new shower, the day before a bank holiday weekend. What's the worst that could happen?
Haven’t played much for a few weeks but back at it properly tonight. First gig in ages in April - time to get serious! #guitar #practice #P4tuning

Ghost’s Christmas Special. Highlighted the amount of dust in this room. Ahem.

At last I’ve got time for my annual viewing of The Apartment. Maybe not the first Christmas film that springs to mind but it’s absolutely flawless. #ChristmasMovie #theApartment

MiniCoupey™ got an Echo Dot in his room this year.

Positive: He's able to explore and develop his own music tastes.

Negative: He's listening to Coldplay.

As is my tradition, I watch the most lauded horror film of the year while doing my Christmas wrapping.

This year it was #Barbarian. Found the first 45 minutes almost unbearably tense but then it increasingly descended into silliness. First half 9/10, second half 5/10.

An evening of wrapping and what I can report to you is that the clear version of Sellotape smells and tastes revolting. No-brand version was fine.
Icy train to the metropolis of Birmingham. There is coffee and a Radio 4 George Smiley dramatisation though so I’m in a happy place.
