Water bosses whose companies pump sewage into rivers should be jailed, broadcaster Nick Ferrari has declared.
He told the BBC’s Question Time that was the only way to make sure the disgusting practice was ended.
‘While the business secretary, Kemi Badenoch, was accused of “a massive climbdown”, barristers say the retention of sweeping “undemocratic” ministerial powers and the removal of the “interpretive effect” of EU law will blow up decades of legal precedent set by courts in Britain and makes for legislation like that found in authoritarian states.’

Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham has called for Labour to consider proportional representation amid talk of a coalition with the Liberal Democrats in the next general election.
"We must never stop calling out the damage Brexit is doing to our economy, society, culture and standing in the world. We must continue to point out that Brexit was a decision made by one generation, in response to a campaign led by a now utterly discredited prime minister, Boris Johnson. The younger generations whose future has in so many ways been spoiled, and indeed stolen, have every right to fight to have the decision revisited.
