I'd forgotten that today is when the first of the 2021 Census topics is released. Should I run my own Mastodon instance just for me so I can keep the data. Will I see anyone else's content?

I go through these self hosting mad moments occasionally. If I can keep Zabbix and OpenVPN running seamlessly for years, surely this shouldn't be hard.

As seems to be typical for the end of a weekend or school holiday, my #rarechromo #asd daughter has decided the enjoyable day and chatty Indian takeaway was too happy.

Door slamming, stomping, shouting and emotionally blackmailing text messages commence 😩. Soon there will be tears and apologies.
