Is it any wonder why Trump wants to terminate the Constitution? Could it be that Section 3 of the 14th Amendment bars anyone from holding office who “engaged in insurrection" against the United States?
Hate speech is a spell, an incantation, a summoning of dark forces. When the summoning is done by a trained warlock, and amplified by the magical Marshall stack that is social media, the dark forces show up and show out.
Violence is the ultimate goal of hate speech—which is why Elon Musk allowing banned provocateurs back on Twitter is so dangerous and ill-advised.
Saying not to bother with the favourite button on mastodon because it doesn't affect any algorithm is like saying not to say thank you to someone because no one else will hear.
Stop thinking in those old social media ways of engagement and visibility and algorithms and reach and audience and start thinking about being social.

What If the Special Counsel Is about Scott Perry, not Just Donald Trump?
Given how narrow the GOP majority in the House is, any investigation into a sitting member of Congress could more immediately disrupt the status quo power than an investigation into a potential Presidential candidate. Which means the appointment of Jack Smith as Special Counsel may also pertain to the investigation of Scott Perry's actions leading up to January 6.
