Minnesota's state bird is the loon and loons kick butt. Years ago a bald eagle was found dead floating near a dead loon chic. After biologists examined the eagle to determine how it died, they found that a loon had pierced it through its heart. Loons look out for their loved ones. That dead eagle was found in Maine, but that serves as a warning to any bald eagles trying to take loved ones in Maine. Maine and Minnesota loons stand together to defend their loved ones.
The world is still forked, so we still need to seek out cool stuff. A blue flower and a black eyed susan with a lovely green worm.
