I have decided the time has come for me to speak up about someone who has been threatening, stalking and harassing me for over two decades. His actions have taken a toll on my health, my family, my business and my reputation. I have not done the things he accuses me of doing.

Following advice, I'm going to go offline for a bit, and friends will be handling my social media accounts. After that I'm going to get on with my life.

I have had unhealthy stalkers. My wife has had unhealthy stalkers. And my friends have had unhealthy stalkers.

To some degree this comes with the success we've all achieved. But, as inevitable as this may be, it still disappoints me every time something like this unfolds.

I've known about Adam's stalker for a while (indeed, both my wife and I have received harassing messages from him) and, as unnecessary as it may be, I've always been very public about my support and love for Adam. He's a terrific person and has my full confidence and that of my friends and colleagues, as well.

We wish him and his attorneys well as they take this step that unfortunately became inevitable...
