@marcoarment charge whatever you like but if you expect people to be willing to pay, you still need to address usability and even function in the new version of the app. Like AirPlay is just broken right now and that’s traditionally the way I listen to a lot of podcasts. I was happy to pay for the app in the past but I have canceled that recently because it’s become such a mess. Apple Podcasts (free) beckons.
@overcastfm I’ve really loved Overcast for many years now. But I just can’t get past the new UI and how its made things much more difficult to do. And also how the app just ignores my limits on podcasts and I find groups full of episodes I don’t want. I’m afraid I’m going to have to go back to the Apple app. It’s a huge shame.

UPDATE: no need for further boosting. Thank you everyone!

My boss, Matt Mullenweg, the boss of Automattic, owner of Tumblr, is looking for ex-Twitter employees for Tumblr, saying,

"we're putting on a fast track to see how they can help super-charge Tumblr. We can't absorb thousands of people, but I'd be open to hiring entire teams if they already work great together."

“@levelsio @automattic In particular I'd say people leaving @twitter we're putting on a fast track to see how they can help super-charge @tumblr. We can't absorb thousands of people, but I'd be open to hiring entire teams if they already work great together.”

@eshate @atomicpoet where is this guide?
@atomicpoet have failed so far to get beyond step 1
@hacks4pancakes this “help” almost assumes people already know hire to do these things. I read this and felt myself wondering “that’s interesting: hire do I do that?” and I see from the comments I am not alone. This seems to be a common Mastodon problem: assuming everybody gets it.
