When a guest arrives, I go out to meet the guest

When a guest arrives, I don’t go out to meet the guest

When a guest arrives, the guest meets themself, I meet myself, meeting meets meeting

Two elementary particles that are entangled will flip their spin simultaneously even when light years apart

Awareness is not only within our body and brain

Awareness extends throughout the universe
We participate in it

Letting go of mental activity gives space to see our existence before birth and after death

When one thing is in front of the other, one thing is just in front of the other

Obstruction implies expectation or intent—how things are vs. how things should be

Without “should be,” we are just here, just as we are

Opening the door to vast equanimity and peace

And carrying out right action appropriate for each situation

Happiness and growth

The other side
Is Buddha too

Pushing the pendulum
It swings back

Until there are
No more sides

The entire universe
Is enlightened

“What is the grand design or overall aim of the Buddhadharma?”

Reiun replied, “The
horse has arrived before the donkey has left”

The donkey is what we aim for
The horse is the arrival of fulfillment

We are fulfilled even before we aim

Aiming, fulfillment, achieving, falling short, are all included in the whole self

Just so!

As a young man, I tried to solve life‘s problems with my rational mind.

Now, life‘s problems dissipate through Zen and meditation. My rational mind is available to solve concrete and practical problems in service of my life and others.
