If you're following along at home, this week, the one between Christmas and New Year's, is an extremely busy week in crime scene cleaners thriller 2 STREET. The Philly Mummers finalize their preparations for the NYD parade while Philly mob families finalize ways to either go to war or prevent one. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09V6LVGQK/ref=sr_1_8?crid=1V425RYOKA7OE&keywords=2+street&qid=1646873054&s=digital-text&sprefix=2+street%2Cdigital-text%2C46&sr=1-8

A simple "Giving Tuesday" suggestion: remember that IF you shop on Amazon your purchases can become donation events by simply using Amazon's Amazon.smile link. It took the "Giving Tuesday" donation push to remind me of this. #WritingCommunity #donate #charity
@Bronwyn Following you because of your post about your parents' dog with cancer. I could be one of those parents, although our dog Maeby isn't dying from her cancer, which is malignant, but we won't get another when she's gone. We've lost too many good girls and good boys already. You've got other stuff going for you, too 😎, but it was mostly that.
True fact: I played #Rugby on the first high school rugby team in the Delaware Valley area of Pennsylvania: FatherJudge High School, Philly, spring, 1969. Heard this recently from my HS rugby coach/Chem teacher at FJ, Mr. Thomas P. Rooney. So I've got that going for me. #amwriting #novelist

You had me at "living in Philly," my hometown, where a number of my thrillers are based.

Hello, Val. I'm nosing around, looking to find other crime/thriller/horror authors here. I kill people in my crime novels, too. Lots. Most recent one is 2 STREET, set in #Philly. 17 dead, I think. Only half of them deserved it.
Any noir readers/writers /reviewers out here? Thriller readers/writers/reviewers? Crime? Horror? How about people from Philly?
Is this thing on?

2 STREET is a Christmas book about Philly like "Die Hard" is a Christmas movie about LA. #books #thriller #philly #LosAngeles

I watched the 4-part Netflix documentary series "Pepsi, Where's My Jet?" I never knew (or forgot?) about this drama between a 20-yr-old who took Pepsi up on its "offer" of a Harrier Jet during a marketing campaign back in the 90s. Does he get the jet? No spoilers here. This reviewer (below) didn't like it, but I did, even if it was bloated. One thing we agree on: we both liked John Leonard, the 20-yr-old guy who wanted the jet.

Pepsi, Where’s My Jet? review – the oddly dull tale of a man who sued a soft drink for a weaponised plane

This David and Goliath story of the man who collected enough Pepsi tokens for a military aircraft – and went to court to get it – is so drawn out it’s as empty and bloating as a fizzy drink
