There are 2 #dogs that live in the house behind my house. There is a fence between our yards. Sometimes the girl dog comes to the fence and whines until I walk over and visit her. Often the boy dog then starts barking at me and pouncing on her. I love trying to scritch their ears through the fence, but I'm afraid the barking will get them into trouble. Well, I think I'm winning the boy over. Yesterday he barked briefly, then he let me scritch his cheek and he licked my hand. 🙂

Last night we went out to see a local band play. There was a videographer because they were recording for a music video. It was such unbelievable, joyful chaos!

The audience of punks and misfits included a girl in Garfield (the cat) costume and a guy in a referee outfit. (And me, a misfit too!) It was great!

I'm in a mood (probably pms), and I'm just so utterly sad that I can't have a dog. Especially when I see ones like Elvira shared on SM who need homes. In a few days I'll probably be more rational about this, because there are legitimate reasons for not having a dog. But anyway, hug your dogs for me.

We had a big ol' pine tree cut down because it was dying and a risk. We're going to attempt to move that rose bush & have this area flattened down to match the rest of the lawn. Homeownership -- it's always something!
I took a moment to count the rings on the stump. Over 80! Grateful for the shade the tree provided for so long.

@actuallyautistic Anyone have a spinner/fidget ring? Do you find it helpful? In the "surviving the holidays" support group I attended, the therapist mentioned them being helpful, as a way to remind you to breathe, refocus, whatever meaning you attach to the ring. Wondering about others' experiences.

You enter the United States, and you apply for asylum.
