I run an organisation called SBiT (Seasonal Businesses in Travel sbit.org.uk) that raises awareness on the devastating impact of Brexit on the UK outbound Tourism industry. We lobby to try to improve the situation.

I also am MD of European Pubs Ltd which operates bars and restaurants across the French Alps. www.european-pubs.com

I am a self confessed data geek and an avid snowboarder

When following back people here, Iโ€™m noticing a lot of people havenโ€™t posted anything yet.

If you canโ€™t think of anything to write just yet, then do consider just reblogging (=retweeting!) good content that you see around. You could start with this post, for example, to encourage more people to start sharing content around here.

BTW, as we get the Bylines publications going on here, that will provide ample good news content for the community. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

@EmmaKennedy This is really good. Thanks for sharing this
If you've arrived from the Other Place, this is good tool to find people you followed over there who have moved over here.
I'm going to use it once a week to refresh and merge. It's a great help and makes this place feel like home already.

It seems it's the thing to do an #introduction.

It's mainly in my profile, anyway. I'm an early-retired Prof of Organization Studies meaning I studied organizations - ranging from Bletchley Park to big accounting firms - drawing on sociology, psychology, economics, philosophy, history etc.

Apart from my books etc you can find my OS stuff on BBC R4 Thinking Allowed & on Social Science Bites.

Recently, I've written a lot of stuff about #Brexit

Personal interests exist, but are personal.

@ChrisGrey great to see you moving over here. I look forward to many more insightful and informative pieces from you on the impact of Brexit
I changed my header pic back to the aftermath of when Alisson scored that stoppage time winner against Bournemouth. That was an absolutely incredible scene!

The just stop oil protests are obviously generating a lot of strong reactions. If you get a chance I suggest you listen to Alex de Kooning (spokesperson) on radio 4 world at one 13:25 and 30 secs. A very effective communicator who makes the case for what the group is doing in an impressive manner. Irrespective of your views on the underlying issue it is worth a listen.
@EmmaKennedy hello I am a long time Liverpool fan (since 1980) who is definitely up some some good footy chat

The world has become a slightly better place already. ๐Ÿ™‚
