The number of times I have called Maximus a dumbass today because he refuses to walk through a door I'm about to close behind us would probably be appalling to the aspca. truly, I love him, but he's an actual dumbass.

Another thing I've learned is that to be a compassionate, effective, engaged person you have to have clear boundaries. Then, you have to communicate that boundary. This is hard for introverted people pleasers (we exist!) But you can't enforce a boundary you don't communicate. #lifelessons

The greatest lesson I have learned lately is that I am much happier when I properly manage my expectations for things. Like let go of what you thought was going to happen and be open to whatever does happen. If I have any life advice, it's that. #lifelessons

Ok, so I'm making a sign for a bookstore display. It looks nice. Has info about all three books! I print it on glossy paper and slip it into the professional-looking frame, at which point I realize my name is nowhere on this thing. Nor my website. It's a good thing I'm pretty!

Occasionally, I roll a nat 20 on an intelligence check. Not often, but sometimes.

I do not regret switching to m/m romance but it is a pain in the ass trying to write love scenes between two people who use the same pronouns! Just an unforseen complication!

2 years ago I started doing pushups and I could do 1 pushup. Just decided to test myself and I did 5O pushups! I took a one minute break a couple of times but still ... 50! Take that noodle arms!
