West Virginia voters, you have primary elections on Tuesday, June 9th, for President, U.S. Senate, U.S. House, Governor, and state and local elections including 3 State Supreme Court seats.

Completed absentee ballots must be postmarked by June 9 to be counted if you received a mail ballot. Election Day polls open 6:30AM and close 7:30PM.

You have a primary election on June 2, for U.S. Senate and House Representatives and other offices.

June 1 – Absentee Ballot In-Person Deadline
Last day to request and cast an absentee ballot in person in the auditor’s office.
June 2 – Primary Election Day
Polls are open from 7:00PM until 9:00PM. Absentee ballots may be delivered to the county auditor until 9:00PM. Same-day registration is available.

Mail ballots should be in by June 2.

Your primary election is June 2. Due to COVID-19 concerns, it's being conducted entirely by mail.

There are up and down ballot races. All registered voters received a mail ballot. You must return it postmarked by June 2 and it will be counted if it's received by June 8 or or drop it off at your county’s drop-off location on or before June 2.

You can also still complete a late registration to vote.
