Good morning Mastodonians! A cool clear one, with warmth to come today...but short-lived, as the weekend is supposed to be rainy and a bit chilly.

Not a crazy day ahead, as far as I can see. I need some easy days after the craziness of the last couple of months...and the craziness that I'm sure lies ahead at some point. My big problem is that I'm a day head mentally. I keep thinking it's Friday. I thought yesterday was today. UGH.

Good morning Mastodonians! Well, yesterday's house inspection was interesting; the bad news was that there was evidence of termites, so further inspection needs to be done (by the sellers) to see how extensive the damage is and what treatment is needed if I'm going to buy it. Good news was that everything else was manageable...so if the termite issue can be resolved, I very well might go for that place.

And I learned that there's invasive Asian termites in the South that eat up stuff superfast and are hard to treat....another good reason not to move south for retirement...

Good morning Mastodonians! Another warm one, with my car covered with pollen and some dew this morning; possibly indicating that there won't be rain today. "When there's dew upon the grass/Rain shall never come to pass," the saying says, and often it's right.

Boss is back today. Saw a new house last night and withdrew my last offer and put one in on this one. Similar house, but better cared for and updated, with actual AC and more than one outlet in the bedrooms. This could be the one, folks, so let's hope inspection goes well....

A stocked trout stream…essentially a put-and-take fishery. But I noticed a nearby pond is dumping murky water into the creek😞
Murky water does not necessarily mean it is polluted, but I am not sure I want to take the fish home 🤔
