I love closing out the year with this. 😊

On December 31, 1995, exactly 27 years ago today, legendary cartoonist Bill Watterson published his final 'Calvin and Hobbes' comic strip.

How beautiful and appropriate it was, and a timeless reminder of what we have before us in 2023. ❤️

I pet Sully and Rufus. They moved to town a few months ago from out in the country. Their caregiver said they’re brothers from another mother. Sully is the first Samusky I’ve ever met. A Samusky is a Samoyed, Husky mix. Rufus barked at me a lot, but sniffed me and let me pet him.

I pet Anna. She is a very smart and caring husky. She and her caregiver take care of each other. Whenever her caregiver coughs, she runs to check on him. He makes her scrambled eggs every week. Anna’s caregiver even has a mug that says “My best friend saved me and I saved her.”
