I pet Juno. She is protective of her family and a little anxious. She is especially anxious about vacuum cleaners. She feels better around her family. She even stands on them when they sit. If she finds something that makes her happy, she brings it to them so they can see.
I pet JJ. She loves being outside. Each time her caregiver comes home, she runs to the leashes. When she rides in the car, she likes the window down. Her caregivers love her so much, they put the window down, even in the cold.
I pet Luna. She was adopted from a shelter and has a lot of separation anxiety. She hates being alone. She lives with another dog named Lyla. Together they help each other. Luna helped Lyla recover from injuries, and Lyla helps Luna feel safe. They even go to the vet together.
I pet Lyla. She has had a hard life. She is diabetic and wasn’t diagnosed right away. She had very long seizures. Her caregiver was able to help her get the right meds and food to help her.
Just as she was doing better, she was attacked by a dog at the dog park. She suffered a spinal cord injury and couldn’t walk for 3 months. After a lot of love and care, she is running, playing and doing well. Her caregiver now hopes she can help more dogs.
Popsicle has been in the shelter for 7 months, so he needs a family that will help him learn his puppy manners. If you adopt Popsicle, you get a voucher for 4 free weeks of training! This sweet, loving boy would love to run around your yard, play some fetch, then cuddle.

Adopt a Dog - Nebraska Humane Society
I would love to pet Popsicle. He is 1 year old and in need of a home through the Nebraska Humane Society. He loves people and would love to be included in everything you do. Popsicle is as sweet as his name. He likes dogs that match his play-style, but he doesn’t like cats.
I pet Mattis. He is 9 months old. His favorite things are playing fetch and chewing on bones. His caregiver says the best thing about Mattis is that he always wants to do whatever his caregiver does. He’s happy to go have an adventure or just lie on the couch being lazy.
I pet Lottie. She is a 2 year old Golden Retriever, Cocker Spaniel mix. She is originally from Tennessee. She sleeps upside down with her paws in the air. This summer she went to Lake Michigan and swam in the lake! She is an energetic, happy pup!
I pet Sully and Rufus. They moved to town a few months ago from out in the country. Their caregiver said they’re brothers from another mother. Sully is the first Samusky I’ve ever met. A Samusky is a Samoyed, Husky mix. Rufus barked at me a lot, but sniffed me and let me pet him.
Now Cyrus will go to a prison in Missouri and an incarcerated person will help train him. When he is done, he will work with a veteran or an autistic child. I hope I can see Cyrus again. I’m betting that he will be a great service dog who will be very helpful to his person.
