@iain tremendously satisfying to resurrect it.
Back in the 80s, as a youngster, I built a cricket simulation on my HP41 calculator. It evolved onto Apple IIe with CP/M, then various PC iterations before lying moribund for decades. In the depths of COVID I rewrote it in NodeJS as a nasty CLI kind of thing. I got to work with Claude Code, the original 80s BASIC code, alongside the Node rework, and voila! An iPhone version. To be clear this has an audience of one (me) but it’s amazing to come full circle from one handheld computer to another.
@mathowie you knew at the time it was not such a good idea to name your daughter Maybe.
@RogerBW @iain it’s just the base game as far as I know.
@iain @RogerBW it’s in my sell pile. It’s quite stressful to play we found. Would improve with repeat play of course though there are a lot of combos to get to grips with.
