Hmm. So iOS 26.4 requires UK users to verify their age. Claims UK law. Does that mean the OS will confirm this instead of dodgy third party sites? Somehow I doubt it.
BTW it decided I am over 18 because of the length of time I have had an Apple account, which is one way of doing it I guess.
