I had a lovely time talking to BBC London Radio today about Alias Emma, spies, and what it’s like working at the edge of their world. I love radio and podcast interviews! There’s something about the insulated sanctum of a recording booth that invites confessions. Also, I’d much rather talk about where the book began than the book itself. In my case that starts with, “Let me tell you about a spy I used to know.”
This lush floof is 15 years old and as beautiful as ever. Happy
#caturday!
Look at this little guy on my back steps. Scared of nothing. 🖤
I'm honoured that Alias Emma is one of Library Journal's books of the year!

This looks incredibly moreish, and I've just spontaneously bought it. The first line is delicious. Perfect for a wintery read.

TwitterThis has been burning for 20 minutes and it’s still a mite chilly in the writing shed. This freeze isn’t messing around.
Ah someone's gone and written it. We can all stand down now.

ICYMI: I did an interview with the fabulous @PublishersWkly where I talked about
#AliasEmma, and particularly delved into Emma's character and why I love her so much. I know it's not cool to love your own characters but honestly, she's just... kickass.
