I've been too burnt out doing the comic, needed to draw something else to stretch the brain.

So I started to do portraits of characters. This is the vox of the city, her mentor is the lingering whisper of a city that isn't in this world anymore.

The server mastodon.lol seems to have shut down for good, about 5 days earlier than had been announced.

It won't be possible to migrate from old accounts with the server offline, but if you or somebody you know from the server would be a good fit for sunny.garden, registrations are open.

People are weirdly worried about deep fakes. How everyone will just start believing in everything.

Nah. Right now, young people are super skeptic of anything. You know what'll happen when deep fakes start to get really good and widely used?

Normal people will just assume that everything online isn't real.
It'll absolutely break people's trust in anything online.

Who knows? Maybe analog media will make a comeback. Like News teams that have like a physical presence, and can't just delete their account and avoid legal repercussion when they are caught just making shit up.

But that's just my two cents.
