That transformation is now complete and yet 90% or more of mainstream journalism remains on the platform, their influence muzzled by algorithmic demotion and the fear of even further marginalization. A crucial election approaches. We are out of time.

The UK Govt. is going to bring in its own methodology for measuring water quality, which (for them) has the advantage of making international comparisons difficult & (of course) will involve lots of nice consultancy work for their chums.
