Weiß jemand zufällig von einem freien WG-Zimmer ab Mitte/Ende März in Berlin? Langsam wächst die Verzweiflung 😬 Bin für alle Tips dankbar!

Does someone know a free room in a flatshare in Berlin from mid/end of March onwards? I am a bit desperate right now 😬 thanks for any hints!

My guards!

I hate self portraits but well... for scale reference only! 😬

That's all I managed to pull off during this printing session. Four Archaeopteryx skeletons and three Passaloteuthis. I have to confess that I'm happy that assembly is over now!

Passaloteuthis belemnite life reconstruction in full size

This is a life-size reconstruction of the Jurassic belemnite Passaloteuthis. Several exceptionally preserved specimens have been found in southern Germany, on which this model is based. The models are about 25cm in length. It comes in two poses: with the arms open, showing the hooks, suction cups and the beak, and one with closed arms. The eyes are separate parts which can be printed from clear resin and painted from the backside for a realistic look. I used 3mm steel tubing to mount them on a wooden stand. A file for the nameplate is included. I recommend printing these only on resin printers because of the small details! The files are under copyright and it is forbidden to use them commercially.

The 3D-printed Passaloteuthis models are finished!
Some work ahead
Looking into modelling more small skeletons besides Archaeopteryx. Any ideas for dinos/birds to visualise the evolution from dinosaurs towards modern birds? Criteria: similar size (30 - 40 cm) and good descriptions available.
Hi there, my name is Gaelle Seguillon I am a Concept artist and aspiring paleoartist and I love nature, travel and dinosaurs!

The files to print and assemble your own are available at

(I think they work only on resin printers for the small details)
Full size Archaeopteryx skeleton

A full-size skeleton model of Archaeopteryx. Reconstructed mainly after Wellnhofer's "Archaeopteryx" monography (2008) with skull details from Rauhut (2013). Scaled approximately to the size of the Solnhofen specimen (the largest one). The final size of the mounted skeleton as shown is approximately 45 cm x 19 cm x 33 cm. The model is very delicate and it is recommend to print it on a resin printer with a resolution of at least 50 µm. Additionally, a wooden base, 1.5mm iron rod and 1mm and 3mm steel tubes are required for assembly and mounting. The files are under copyright and it is forbidden to use them commercially.
