It's finally finished: my new and improved full scale Archaeopteryx skeleton model is done! More stable, easier to assemble and a bit more accurate. Special thanks to Scott Hartman
for the input! Modelled in #b3d, printed on an @anycubic3dprint

Full size Archaeopteryx skeleton

A full-size skeleton model of Archaeopteryx. Reconstructed mainly after Wellnhofer's "Archaeopteryx" monography (2008) with skull details from Rauhut (2013). Scaled approximately to the size of the Solnhofen specimen (the largest one). The final size of the mounted skeleton as shown is approximately 45 cm x 19 cm x 33 cm. The model is very delicate and it is recommend to print it on a resin printer with a resolution of at least 50 µm. Additionally, a wooden base, 1.5mm iron rod and 1mm and 3mm steel tubes are required for assembly and mounting. The files are under copyright and it is forbidden to use them commercially.
