This is Timba. She’s Belgian Malinois, Husky, & Shar Pei. She & her brother had survived parvo, but their mama hadn’t. I met her in a PetCo parking lot one Sat morning when I was just trying to go to Marshalls. Instead of buying flip-flops, I ended up adopting a GIANT puppy. This is Teddi. She is part pibble, part German Shorthair, & part pug. When she’s super happy or excited, she gets Krazy Pug Eyes, & it is hilarious. She & I utterly adore one another, but I think she adores my son even more. If she had her way, she’d do nothing but eat & snuggle. Oh—& lick my knees. She loves to lick my knees. This is Toutou. She’d been at the shelter too long & wasn’t doing well, so they featured her on the local news one night. I was at the shelter when they opened the next morning. She’s about 10 now, neurotic af, insanely sweet & affectionate, & loves to be carried around like a baby. ❤️ #NationalRescueDogDay #DogsOfMastodon +

He (she?) died. I tried, but he was cold & dehydrated when he was found, so I knew he prolly wouldn’t make it. Poor little guy. 😢
