@samhainnight I am—I have to come off my meds for #PsoriaticSpondylitis for 10 days (5 before, 5 after) to vax, so I try to do them all at once.

Good luck with MediCal—it’s a pain signing up, but it’s worth it. My m-i-law is on it. I love this state. ❤️

I really really REALLY want an #UnfittedKitchen. When we first moved here, we rented an apt in San Diego w/ a huge kitchen. It had a big empty wall—I think most ppl put a kitchen table+chairs there, but I lined up tall industrial shelves instead, & I LOOOVED IT. @dangerousmeta Good to know--thank you. I'll tell him. Has your wife had it? I had to come off my #PsoriaticSpondylitis meds for 2 full wks, which srsly sucked. I have to stop taking them 5 days before & 5 days after every COVID vax, too. BLEH.

@Brian_Mahoney I never used cannabis when I was young--I tried it when I was 15 or so, & I hated the way it made me feel. But none of the meds I've used for #PsoriaticSpondylitis help me very much, so I started supplementing with gummies (with my docs' full approval) so that I can at least sleep at night, & they've REALLY helped.

A mani recommendation!

You guys know I have #PsoriaticSpondylitis , which is basically #PsoriaticArthritis that affects my spine & SI joints. Outside of that, it rly jacks w/ a couple of organs (liver & lungs) & my nails. Oh, my poor nails. They're a MESS--brittle, thin, weak, & w/ ridges that constantly split & bleed. I used to wear acrylic nails, but they're just so unhealthy. Plus, they're expensive & require a 3 hr round trip to have them done every month. +

I have #PsoriaticSpondylitis . The drug I take for that costs apprx $10k /month—our health insurance covers 80% of that. Before #Obamacare , my illness would’ve been a pre-existing condition, & they’d have covered 0%. ZERO. None of my rheum appts would’ve been covered. No x-rays, no scans, no nothing. Here’s a thing to consider: under the ACA (“Obamacare”) insurance cannot exclude pre-existing conditions. A GOP-led Congress and Presidency will destroy that. This is a problem for you and me because: 1. Nobody has been hiding chronic health problems for 12 years, so we all have pre-existing conditions. 2. Data mining means insurance companies know how much you drink, what you eat, and what your smartwatch thinks of your heart rhythm. 3. DNA test services know your genetic risks now. 1/3
