OK, I got annoyed enough at people saying "Trump faces up to 400 years in prison" or that he wouldn't get prison even if found guilty, that I went and calculated what the sentence would actually be, assuming Trump is actually found guilty (a big if).

In the past week, a lot of supporters for former President Trump have argued that the current administration has violated the norm against prosecuting former presidents.

The problem? That norm doesn't actually exist.
