I usually rinse rice before putting it in the rice cooker. Last week, I got lazy and skipped the rinse and…I liked it better?

Years ago, I quit Gourmet magazine when they ran an interview with Eric Robert’s about his favorite spoon.

Today, I just saw another publication create AN ENTIRE ARTICLE over a single comment from an Ina Garten interview about her go-to breakfast being toast and coffee.

I ask you, when did we, as a society, decide that we weren’t getting enough protein?
Then I landed an interview with another company that I found on Upwork. In that call, the interviewer said that they just needed to have a call with me to make sure that I “was a real person who spoke English”.

My job search was traumatic, as is true for everyone looking for work in the worst job market in years.

I had an interviewer tell me that I was “exactly what they were looking for” only to be passed over in favor of another candidate a week later.

That was, on paper, a dream job. More pay than what I had ever seen.
