@MaxKriegerVG If it helps, I sincerely like you so far, and would bet money that all your Masto pals do. Lots of us have anxiety, and personally I handle FB this way: if we're FB friends, we answer at least some of each other's posts, and we like pics of each other's kids and pets. If you don't play, I drop you. The kids think I'm too harsh, but it keeps my wall small and interactive. No one collects me to be part of a count, and I don't do that to them. Try it! And hugs.

@wilkie I saw the documentary on RealDolls and their users some years ago. At first I thought it was so stupid for grown people to buy and use these dolls, but by the end I wanted to send a donation to the company, to thank them for keeping these guys away from living women. If installing voices and "personality" makes these dolls more attractive to the guys who need them, then fire up the motherboards!
