I like to play #OSR roleplaying games, especially when historisches inspired, and to nag authors into improving their rules.
@kensanata There are cursed dice which always miss the target number by one step.
There is a powerful liquid called red slime, that is said to allow you flawless (albeit hazed) sight at night if dripped into your eyes. Not mentioned is that it will painfully burn your eyes away, making you blind if there is so much as a glimmer of light.
Glyph traders offer you to chance the core of your being in exchange for a single letter of your name. If you pay this letter, you will never be able to use it again, but you are allowed to reroll any rolled characteristic (like hitpoints, attributes etc) on your sheet.
@rafial Oh. An ancestral flower fae that wants to become a goddess... Did she seduce Bee, the ancestral spirit of bees, in an attempt to absorb her powers?
Golems are quite fascinating, why not make them a little stranger and have an Elfen cathedral protected by a leaf or petal Golem? It would be difficult to harm as weapons dash right through, and they overwhelm their opponents with smell and confusion...
@kensanata Since most birds have some kind of human characteristic ascribed, that should work quite well. It would probably be also fun to have a campaign where everyone can naturally fly.
@rafial I read up about kenku, they differ greatly from what I remembered. If they took to banditry, they would indeed be goblins.
@rafial Kenku are really birds, as far as I recall. I thought more along the lines of small humanoids with feathers instead of hair and just the superficial resemblence of a magpie.
