Goblins are basically magpie people in most D&D adventures. Why not go all the way and give them white and black striped feathers? (No wings of course, those are low level XP dispenser after all).

@rafial Kenku are really birds, as far as I recall. I thought more along the lines of small humanoids with feathers instead of hair and just the superficial resemblence of a magpie.

@rafial I read up about kenku, they differ greatly from what I remembered. If they took to banditry, they would indeed be goblins.
