@Beholdafish I’m at a really cool spot in my PhD program where I’ve collected a lot of data, but haven’t yet published it. So I’m fortunate to have a handful of examples. But one of my favorites is that I’m the only person who knows the swimming speed of the threatened Pearl Darter (Percina aurora)! Here’s a pic I got with it in my swimming tank!

I've made a LOT of spandex costumes. Most were handsewn because I didn't have a sewing machine(I'm poor & being #disabled is EXPENSIVE), so at first I didn't get why ppl say sewing stretch fabric is hard. Then I was gifted a sewing machine and I learned. 😂
Right now I'm working on a complicated suit pattern with a ton of pieces. My first was MUCH simpler--my favorite hero, Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau ❤️ 💫 #cosplay #costuming #BlackTwitter #CaptainMarvel #MonicaRambeau #BlackMastodon #Avengers
