Was watching SG-1 with @gc last night and the episode opened with the attached scene. It's so commonplace now that it took me a moment to realize, "Wait, this ep came out in 2000, but is set in Later Than 2000. Everyday wireless tableside point-of-sale was supposed to look like futuretech. ... Which it is!"
I feel like if any other president had posted a faked video of himself launching off in a fighter jet to literally shit all over his political opponents, it would've been covered in the news.
Like, I think that's a thing that would've been mentioned if Obama, Biden, or even Bush did it. It feels like it should probably be mentioned.
