Local community, grassroots & activist groups should be starting to organise around the country to fight back against the fash.

For too long Irish lefties have laughed at dangerous ring leaders, calling them “crazy” and “fools” and sharing their content for the outrage clicks.

That should have stopped years ago.

We’re now seeing the results of an Irish fascist movement that has been busy in the background recruiting while most have been mocking.

Time to take it seriously.

How to manage the supply of public goods https://www.taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2024/01/15/how-to-manage-the-supply-of-public-goods/. Public goods are supplied universally without the intention to profit from doing so. In the neoliberal era we have, however, imposed a for-profit management model on their supply. No wonder they are failing so badly.
The stock market is failing according to the CBI. So why don’t we just let it go?

I posted this on Twitter this morning: https://twitter.com/RichardJMurphy/status/1942861045426516103 My point is serious. The CBI is saying that the situation with regard to the UK stock exchange is getting desperate, because it is losing out to overseas markets and not attracting sufficient business. Stephen Jay Gould wrote: "I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops".

The councillor's name is Noel Thomas, he was in the news a couple of years ago for this response to journalist Sinéad Ryan's support of the government's vaccination policy. What a surprise that a racist is also an anti-vaxxer.
A fantastic documentary done by a good friend of mine, an introduction to the recent political history of Gaza, how we got to where we are now and what it means to be Palestinian. I implore you to listen. Check out Keeping Track on #SoundCloud

@Beedge for sure. Also I never thought of Sanchez as "one of ours" - more like a mercenary. Kind of like Auba (despite that wonderful interview with Ian Wright).

I never expected RVP to be a turncoat, to write that damning (if not kernel of truth) open letter, to go to Man United of all places, to be part of an embarrassing 8-2, and to help them win the league.

So fuck him and his horse placenta. 😂 🐴
